Runoff election held Tuesday

Voters in Choctaw county will help decide who will be on the November ballot with either Thad Cochran or Chris McDaniel.

Editor’s note: The Choctaw Plaindealer intended on taking a photograph of the poll workers and polling place yet were incorrectly told at a voting precinct that it was against the law. According to the Attorney General’s office, a brief video or photograph which would not be disruptive of an election should be allowed.
