Certified Marketplace Navigators from University of Mississippi Medical Center provided in-person assistance to determine eligibility for low or no cost insurance to dozens of Choctaw County residents during their event on Feb. 6 at the Choctaw County Community Center. Local Student Assists at State Capitol
Brynn Latham of Stewart recently served as a page for the Mississippi House of Representatives.  Pages generally run errands for officials and House staff.  Speaker of the House Philip Gunn who sponsored her visit.  Brynn is the daughter of Brad and Christy Latham and attends Hebron Christian School.  When asked about the week, Brynn said, “It was such an honor to be able to page for a second time.  I have learned so much about the hard job these representatives have to better our great state.”
