The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce hosted the 6th annual First Responders Picnic to say thank you to our county first responders for their selfless acts of servitude and the many hours of volunteering to keep the residents of Choctaw County safe. All Choctaw County volunteer fire departments, law enforcement, E911, emergency management, Wildlife & Fisheries and 4-County lineman were invited to the picnic.

The First Responders Picnic would not have been possible without our generous sponsors. They are: Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce, Clark Beverage, McAlister’s Deli – Starkville, Mississippi Lignite Mining Company – Red Hills Mine, Southern Company Services – Red Hills Operations, TVA/Ackerman Combined Cycle, U.S. Forest Service, Wal-Mart – Kosciusko. Also, donations from K&M Portables and R&M Arts.

The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce would also like to thank our volunteers that helped with the 2017 First Responders Picnic, the committee for their dedication and hard work and the Chamber of Commerce Board for their support.
