The 3rd Annual Panhandle Community Day could not have been held on a more beautiful day than last Saturday. People from all over came to see all the crafts, art and artifacts done by folks from across the community.
There were fall, Halloween and Christmas items as well as lots of good things to eat. The main attraction seemed to be friends catching up and swapping stories.
Many of the attendees were former students at the Panhandle school which was closed in the mid fifties. The building has been kept up as a community center and is used for this and other gatherings related to the community.
