Broken Wings Christian Women’s Job Corps helping those in the community

Broken Wings Ministries Christian Women’s Job Corps in Ackerman, MS began classes on Tuesday, August 11. Six young women are enrolled for the 2015-16 session which will include Bible Study, Jobs for Life, Marriage and Family Relationships, Money Management, Anger Management, Parenting, Computer skills, and GED tutoring.

Participants meet two days each week on Tuesday and Thursday for twenty-six weeks. Each participant is assigned a mentor, or Christian friend, to support him or her through this journey. The mission of CWJC is to provide a Christian environment to strengthen women with skills for life, education and/or employment.
