The Office of the State Auditor has released the Choctaw County School District annual financial audit for the year ending June 30, 2014.
This audit had no material findings and the school district received a certificate for achievement in financial reporting for this accomplishment.
“I would like to congratulate the Choctaw County School District for their exemplary work over the previous year which led to this clean audit,” State Auditor Stacey Pickering said.
“Another outstanding job done by Mr. Kenny Clark! His relentless efforts to ensure excellence and integrity are unlike any other,” commented Superintendent Glen Beard.
The audit, performed by Fortenberry & Ballard, PC on behalf of the Office of State Auditor, was performed pursuant to Section 37-9-18(4), Mississippi Code Ann. (1972). The audit was performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America and the standards applicable to financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
