‘Shop Small’ Nov. 29

by Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce

The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce is participating in Small Business Saturday, November 29th.  This is a nationwide marketing campaign to “shop small” sponsored by American Express.

This day is dedicated to supporting small business owners across the country and the impact they have on our communities.

“Choctaw County is made up of small, locally owned businesses and they need our support year round. Purchasing one gift or more from our county’s small businesses could make or break that business. Not to mention the gas and time shoppers will save shopping local,” said Amanda McBride, Chamber board president.

During this holiday season, remember to shop small to find great gifts right here in Choctaw County.

American Express has supplied the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce and participating businesses with promotional items for Small Business Saturday.  Customers who make a purchase at participating businesses will receive a shop small tote.

Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce Director Donna McKay urges the community to show our business owners that we support them by shopping locally on Saturday, November 29th.

The following businesses will be randomly rewarding customers, who shop small November 29th, with gift certificates to their store. Visit each store for special promotions and your chance to win one of multiple gift certificates at each store.

Participating business are: Forget Me Not Florist and Guns and Roses Pawn Shop in Ackerman; Tonya Barlow Jewelry, Council House Café, Log Cabin Gift Shop and Double Blessings Thrift Store in French Camp.
