The Choctaw County Board of Supervisors held their June 30 meeting concurrent with the Hospital Board of Trustees meeting.
Both boards met at the courthouse to discuss and review management contracts with Sunflower LTC Management and Trilogy Healthcare Solutions.
Sunflower will manage the nursing home and Trilogy will manage the hospital and medical clinics.
They looked at the contracts, page by page, asking questions to executives from both companies.
Later in the meeting, the supervisors and the trustees discussed the contracts with Tom Kirkland, county hospital transaction attorney, via telephone.
The supervisors then approved to reject all bids on the 41-13 lease or sell of the hospital and nursing home.
The trustees approved, in the supervisor meeting, all management contracts with Sunflower and Trilogy beginning August 1.
The Board of Supervisors approved:
-Agenda after adding economic development.
