The Choctaw County Chargers softball team travelled to Kosciusko Friday night for the Kosciusko Classic to take on Leake Central.

The Chargers had a slow start on this cold Friday night.  After  4 innings the Chargers were down 2 to 0.  The bats heated up in the top of the 5th with Lizzie Thomas starting off the inning with a triple.  Three base hits from Kierra Fair, Sarah Moss, and Haley Lucas, along with a double from Makenzie Toombs, put 4 runs on the board to take the lead 4 to 2.  Leake Central put up one more run.
