The March French Camp Historical Highlight Luncheon will be Tuesday, March 11 at noon. This month’s speaker will be Joe Miller, FCA Class of 1970. His topic will be “French Camp Saved My Life!” Joe has fond memories of his years in Hugh Long’s dorm, playing on sports teams under Coach John Robert Cockrell, and good times with his classmates. It would be great to have alumni from the late 60’s – early 70’s, so ya’ll help get the word out and come on.
Speakers for the April 8 luncheon will be George and Fran Holman whose topic will be “Meet the Supporters of FCA.” The February luncheon, which was postponed due to weather, has been rescheduled for May 13. Margie Newman’s topic will be “The Origins of the Historic District.”
Historical Highlight Luncheons are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month, featuring a speaker who shares some aspect of French Camp’s history and a delicious, home-cooked meal for a $2 donation. All in French Camp and surrounding communities are invited to participate in this monthly time to reminisce about days gone by. RSVP by calling 547-6520 (leave a message) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
