Pam Awad, Nutrition Educator, will teach how to make changes to recipes in regards to fat, salt and sugar so they are healthier. Bring a recipe you would like to modify. There is no charge to attend. CCHS Jr. & Sr. Prom Dues
Each CCHS Jr. & Sr. must have their prom dues paid in full by Feb. 28 in order to attend prom. Junior class dues are $80 and senior dues are $20. Mrs. Beals at CCHS will issue a receipt once money is paid. Any junior or senior at CCHS who does not pay their class dues this year will not be allowed to use a date ticket and will not be admitted to prom so please be sure to get your money paid on time.
First Responders’ Dinner
The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce will host the third annual First Responders Appreciation Dinner on Friday, February 28 at the Community Center in Ackerman. Doors will open at 5:30pm, dinner at 6:30pm. Tickets are Chamber members – $10; Friends of the Chamber – $15; Children – 5-11 – $5; Children 5 and under – free.
