School Board hold seven minute meeting

The Choctaw County School Board handles routine business in a seven-minute meeting.

The School Board held their regular monthly board meeting on February 6 with School Board Members Laura Gibbs and Clint Huffman absent. The meeting was regularly scheduled for February 10. School Board Member Mike Thomas participated in the meeting via telephone.

Under discussion on the agenda, the board approved:

-16th section lease renewals for Reform Volunteer Fire Department, Mr. and Mrs. George Cork and Franklin Shumaker.

-CCSD Crisis Management Plan 2013-2014, Financial reports, To reschedule the March board meeting de to Spring Break. The meeting will be held March 6 at 7 p.m.

The School Board approved the following in the consent agenda:

Approve resignation of Mike Brown from bus route.

Approve recommendation of Robin Robinson to replace Mike Brown’s afternoon bus route.
