The Chamber of Commerce will host the First Responders Dinner on Friday, February 28, at the Choctaw County Community Center in Ackerman.
The Chamber of Commerce sponsors the First Responders Dinner to honor and thank all first responders in the county for their servitude and acts of selflessness for the county’s citizens. First responders in the county include volunteer firefighters, police officers, sheriff deputies, 911 dispatchers, game wardens, highway patrolman, MedStat-EMS staff, and 4-County lineman. All first responders are invited to attend and bring one guest to enjoy a delicious catered dinner.
First responders will also enjoy door prizes and awards during the First Responders Dinner.
District 35 Representative Joey Hood will serve as emcee of the First Responders Dinner.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by The Bucket List. The band is made up of musicians mostly from Winston County.

If you would like to attend the First Responders Dinner to honor and thank Choctaw County’s first responders, please contact the Chamber of Commerce office. Tickets are $10 for Chamber of Commerce members, $15 for Friends of the Chamber, $5 for children ages 5-11 and children under 5 are free. Deadline to purchase your ticket is Friday, February 7.
