Historical Luncheon slated for Nov. 12

By Press Reports

The November Historical Highlight Luncheon at French Camp Presbyterian Church will be on Tuesday, November 12 at noon.  Speakers will be David & Ann Vincent, who lived in French Camp many years before retiring in the Jackson area in 2008. Among other things, David helped build WFCA Radio Station, ran a grocery store, ported engines for race cars, served as mayor, and was an elder at FC Presbyterian Church.  Ann taught math and piano and was the pianist at FC Presbyterian Church.  They have many memories to share of their work in the church, school and community.

We will enjoy Christmas music with Anne Katherine Ragsdale for the December 10 luncheon.

Historical Highlight Luncheons are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month, featuring a speaker who shares some aspect of French Camp’s history and a delicious, home-cooked meal for a $2 donation.  The public is invited. RSVP by calling 547-6520 (leave a message) or email marynellcoblentz@gmail.com.
