Choctaw County Chamber board elected by members

The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce membership elected the first Board of Directors on October 28.

With 18 members present and two guests, the membership elected the following as Board of Directors: Dannie Reed, retiree, Matthew Cauthen of K&M Portables, Tekoa Miller of French Camp Academy, Debbie Bunkleman of Menzer Lumber, (all two year terms), Jamie McHan of Mitchell Dental Clinic, Amanda McBride of The Choctaw Plaindealer and Kasey Burney Young, attorney (all one year terms).

Also during the membership meeting, the Chamber members adopted the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce By-Laws.

After the membership meeting, the Board of Directors held their first meeting and elected the following officers: President-Amanda McBride, Vice President-Dannie Reed and Secretary/ Treasurer -Kasey Burney Young.
