Mr. Charles P. Smith

October 21, 2013

Funeral services for Mr. Charles P. Smith, 89, were held Wednesday October 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home with Reverend Donnie Davis officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Bradley.

A native of Sturgis Mr. Smith was born November 13, 1923 and died at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, Wednesday October 21, 2013. He an avid steel guitar player and worked many years at Sturgis Lumber Company and for Oktibbeha County.

Survivors are one daughter Sheila Oswalt of Houston, MS, one son Bobby Smith of Oxford, GA; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ms Kate Dell Frazier

Graveside services for Ms Kate Dell Frazier, 98, were held Wednesday October 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Sturgis Cemetery with Reverend Robert T. Wilbur officiating.

A native of Crawford Ms Kate Dell Frazier, was born January 8, 1915 and died at Windsor Place in Columbus, Friday October 25, 2013. She was a member of Bevils Hill Methodist Church.

Ms Frazier is survived by her on Frank Frazier of Columbus, MS and daughter Frances Goode of West Point, MS, and sister Sadie Brewer of Columbus, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Timber Lake Ministries, P. O. Box 466 Millport, Al 35576

Mr. Antonia C. Miller

Funeral services for Mr. Antonia C. Miller 35. were held Sunday October 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Choctaw County High School Auditorium with Elder Ethan Gillespie officiating. Burial followed in Enon Cemetery

A native of Choctaw County Mr. Miller, was born January 6, 1978 and died at Choctaw Medical Center in Greensboro, NC, Sunday October 20, 2013.

Mr. Miller is survived by his Father Charlie L. Miller ad Mother Ruthie J. Miller. Five daughters; Vonetta Moore of Caledonia, MS, Dorothy Miller of Washington, DC., LaDonna Franklin of Ackerman, MS, Cassandra Miller of Memphis, TN. and LaSandra Patton of Louisville, MS, three sons, Manquel Miller of San Diego, CA, Derrick Miller and Cedric Miller both of Memphis, TN; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends

Mr. Tommie Harsley

Funeral services for Mr. Tommie Harsley 95. were held Sunday October 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Union Chapel Church with Reverend Billy Clay officiating. Burial followed in the Church Cemetery

A native of Louisville Mr. Harsley, was born December 23, 1917 and died at VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS, Sunday October 24, 2013. He was a member of Union Chapel M. B. Church

Mr. Harsley is survived by one daughter; Treba Larisa Davis of Louisville, MS, three sons, Tommie Harsley Jr., and George Edward Harsley both of St. Louis MO. and William Harsley of Memphis, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends

Ms. Kate Dell Frazier

Funeral services for Kate Dell Frazier, 98, were held October 30, 2013 at the graveside of Sturgis Cemetery with Rev. Robert T. Wilbur officiating. Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS is in charge of all arrangements.

Ms. Frazier was a homemaker and a member of Bevils Hill Methodist Church. Ms. Frazier was born January 8, 1915 in Crawford, MS.

Survivors include son, Frank Frazier of Columbus, MS; daughter Frances Goode of West Point, MS; sister Sadie Brewer of Columbus and three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mr. James Neal Nail

Mr. James Neal Nail, 19, died Friday, October 18, 2013 in Stewart.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with burial in Crape Creek Cemetery in Choctaw County. Rev. Josh Bingham and Coach Brent King will officiate.

Mr. Nail graduated Weir High School in 2012. He worked at Nail Roofing.

He is survived by his mother, Violia Bramlett Butler of Stewart, father, James W. Nail of Stewart, grandmother, Linda Nail of Stewart, sisters, Kayla Day of Stewart, Paisley Nail of Mathiston, Korrel Butler and Krystal Butler of Stewart, and a brother, Bo Nail of Stewart.

Pallbearers will be Heath Yeatman, Eric Yeatman, Morgan Day, Austin Leach, Joey Hunt and Joey Wade.
