Chemistry students in Mrs. JoAnne Reid’s classes at Choctaw County High School had more fun than usual on October 23. National Mole Day is celebrated October 23 from 6:02 a.m. to 6:02 p.m. in honor of Avogadro’s Number (6.02 x 1023), which is a basic measuring unit in chemistry.

CCHS students presented projects that included jokes, posters, food items, t-shirts, and games. Mrs. Reid said each student had three weeks to prepare their project and received a grade.
