Pioneer Community Hospital of Choctaw announces details for The Pink Event to be held October 29 from 4:30 p.m.-7 p.m.
The hospital encourages everyone to come to The Pink Event at the hospital for a fun evening full of fashion, guest speakers, entertainment, breast cancer awareness education and refreshments. Pioneer is charging $5 to get in with all proceeds going to American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Research.
PCH-Choctaw says the fashion show will be from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. The fashion show fashions will be provided by Belk of Columbus and music provided by Hawes Little and Oswalt and Lorena Willis.
Belk will also have a variety of their pink breast cancer products to purchase.
At 6 p.m., Dr. Paula Shoemake, M.D. Surgeon Center for Breast Health and Imaging in Starkville, will speak.
Other speakers are from the University of Mississippi Cancer Institute and the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.
Also, MSU Extension Service will provide materials on healthy eating and nutrition.
Refreshments will also be served.
