Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome a new attorney to the county. Kasey Burney Young is a native of Choctaw County and has opened her practice at 533 South Louisville Street in Ackerman.
A welcome reception will be held on Tuesday, October 22, from 4 – 6 p.m. in the J.P. Coleman Building, located across from the courthouse. The public is invited to attend this event and to meet and greet Young.
Young is the first female attorney to practice in Choctaw County according to county historians. She will be a general practice attorney serving the needs of all residents in the county. Young has grown up watching her uncle Judge Joseph H. Loper, District 5 Circuit Court Judge, work and serve in Choctaw County.
Young is married to Andy Young and is the daughter of Carol Lindley of Ackerman and Bill Burney of Batesville. She is the granddaughter of Harold and Ouida Loper and W.C. and Happy Burney. She is a graduate of Ackerman High School, Mississippi State University and the University of Mississippi School of Law.
Please make plans to attend and welcome the newest business professional to Choctaw County on Tuesday, October 22, from 4 – 6 p.m.
