The last two volleyball matches of the season will determine Choctaw County High School’s playoff fate.

The Lady Chargers rolled to a three-set non-division win over Grace Christian School last week, and were set to face GCS again on Monday, before hosting Senior Night on Tuesday against league foe West Lowndes. The seniors being honored were Haley Lucas and Tiara Conner.

Choctaw County began this week with a 3-5 overall mark and a 2-3 record in the region, with league matches left against WL, at Amory (Oct. 7) and at Aberdeen (Oct. 15).

Last Monday the Lady Chargers had a solid performance in the 25-12, 25-13, 25-6 win over Grace Christian.

“We showed a little more offense,” said CCHS head coach Gary Beals. “We served the ball well and played well overall. Brennan Power really played excellent and Tiara Conner had several assists.”

The junior varsity also took a win over Grace Christian.
