Membership investment into Chamber is important

I have been out in the county the last few weeks focusing on membership retention and investment for the Chamber of Commerce. I receive a lot of questions about how the Chamber of Commerce works and why membership?

Membership investment in the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce is used to support our small businesses and community development activities. Salaries or overhead expenses are not paid through membership investment. All funds invested through membership remains in Choctaw County.

In the upcoming weeks, I will elaborate on the benefits a member receives when investing in the Chamber and why membership is an important investment. Along with explaining why the Chamber hosts community events and activities.

This week I wanted to share and recognize the businesses and individuals who are corporate investors of the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce. Corporate investors have made a substantial investment for their business and an investment to support the small businesses and the community through the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce.

To find out what small/local businesses are members of the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce look for the Chamber of Commerce’s logo on their storefront. You will see a white decal representing their membership and support of the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce.

Membership in the Chamber of Commerce is not only for businesses owners, but individuals ($25 investment), churches and non-profit organizations ($50 investment) as well.
