Mr. David R. McDaniel

Funeral services were held for David R. McDaniel, 57, on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 1 PM at Coleman Funeral Home. Bro. Rob Faulk officiated. Burial followed at Salem Cemetery in Choctaw County.

A resident of Ackerman, David R. McDaniel died on July 1, 2013 at his residence in Ackerman. Survivors include wife Kay McDaniel of Ackerman, daughters Becky McDaniel and Brandy McDaniel, and two grandchildren. He was a retired maintenance worker.

Mrs. Cheryl M. Woodson

Funeral services for Cheryl M. Woodson, 69, were held on July 6, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Bethsadea Baptist Church with Rev. Alex Lawson officiating. Internment will follow in Bethsadea Cemetery.

Survivors include husband, Jerome Woodson of French Camp, MS; sons Kenneth Woodson and Bradley Woodson; daughter Melissa Woodson Sheffield; brothers, Kent and Buddy Mills of Okecchobee, FL; sisters, Ernestine Caldwell, Marge Chandler and Marty Mills along with 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Rose Bramlett Cason

Funeral services for Rose Bramlett Cason of Ackerman will be at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, at French Camp Baptist Church in French Camp, with burial following in French Camp Cemetery.  Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the services.

Mrs. Cason died at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson on Monday, July 8.  She was 70 years old.

Mrs. Cason was a homemaker and a member of French Camp Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Melinda Bennett (Terry) of Kilmichael; two sons, Milton Green (Melanie) of Saltillo and Andy Green (Tonya) of Guntown; and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Lottie Drexel McClure

Funeral services for Lottie Drexel McClure, 82, were held on July 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Chester Baptist Church near Ackerman with Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Internment was held at Chester Baptist Church Cemetery near Ackerman, MS.

Ms. McClure was a native of Choctaw County and a Church Secretary.

Survivors include sons, Larry and Terry McClure both of Ackerman, MS; sister, Carolyn Bright Norman of Clinton, MS; along with 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kathy Crowley McKnight

Funeral services for Kathy Crowley McKnight, 55, were held July 12, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS with Rev. Roger Griffith officiating. Interment will be South Union Cemetery near Ackerman, MS.

Mrs. McKnight was a homemaker and a native of Ackerman, MS.

Survivors include husband, Robbie McKnight of Ackerman, MS; son, Adam Bright of Ackerman, MS; daughter, Amanda Armstrong (Christopher) of Ackerman, MS; brother, Howard Crowley of Ackerman, MS; sisters, Margaret Kent and Sue Kyles both of Ackerman, MS; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
