Ackerman High School Class of 2013 buries a legacy in a time capsule for 20 years. The afternoon before graduation, most seniors placed an item that is special to them and/or the Indians in a time capsule to bury for 20 years.

Alison Cooper said the senior were “burying a legacy” while Courtney Beam added, “we are burying our class, we are the last ones of Ackerman.”

Some items buried in the time capsule were: sports jerseys, photos, a calculator, batting gloves, football helmet decals, the alma mater, Moss-Graham bracelet, the class rankings and letters describing their lives right now with their hopes and dreams of the future.
