AES Sixth Graders enjoy Tennessee Trip

By Press Reports

The Ackerman Elementary School sixth grade students have worked hard
this year, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Students’ good
behavior was recognized and they were rewarded with a special 3-day
trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee.
During this trip, the students visited Sequoyah Caverns and enjoyed a
dinner ride on the Southern Belle Riverboat. The next day, after
enjoying a science demonstration at the Creative Discovery Museum,
they toured the Tennessee Aquarium and viewed an IMAX movie.
The students also enjoyed a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater Show. On
the final day, the students toured Ruby Falls and Rock City, ate at
Lone Star Steakhouse and headed back to AES.
