AHS Indians Softball prepare for EHS

AHS Indians travelled to East Webster on April 2 for a division match
up. The Indians took an early 1 to 0 lead in the 1st inning. East
Webster tied the game in the 4th. E.Webster scored one more in the
5th to take a 2 to 1 lead.

E.Webster also added 3 more in the 6th inning to rally and win the
game 5 to 1.

On April 5th, the Indians travelled to Hamilton for another division
game. In JV action, the young Indians defeated Hamilton 17 to 5.

In varsity action, the Indians and Hamilton each scored 1 in the 1st
inning. The Indians put 2 more runs on the board in the 2nd holding
a 3 to 1 lead until the 5th inning where Hamilton scored 1 closing
the Indian lead to 3 to 2. The Indians were able to add 3 runs in
the 6th and 1 in the 7th with Hamilton unable to score and the
Indians won with a final score of 7 to 2.

The Indians will travel to Eupora on April 8, will host East Webster
on the 11th and will host Starkville on April 9 for Senior Night.
