Annual Passion Walk planned

By Staff and Press Reports

Noon on Good Friday, March 29 at the walking track in Ackerman

Everyone is invited to join the 7th Annual Passion Walk on Good
Friday, March 29 at noon at the walking track in downtown Ackerman.

Come on Good Friday to the enactment of Matthew’s rendition of the
Passion story. We will gather at the walking track visiting each of
the 10 light posts. Here we will pause and consider the horrific walk
that Jesus of Nazareth was forced to make as He walked the way of the
Cross having been condemned to public execution. What happened to His
friends and loved ones? What happens to you?

Don’t miss this opportunity to pray and to continue to thank our
awesome God for the gifts of Love.

You may ‘know’ the story…come ‘feel’ the story…come see the story
as 10 churches lead us in prayer and song around Matthew’s Gospel.

This year leading our prayer at each lantern are Bethlehem Baptist,
Calvin & Friends, Ackerman Baptist, St Lukes FGB, Ackerman Methodist,
Concord Baptist, Brothers in Christ, Enon Pres, Church of God and the
Catholic community.

Join us as we seek to re-discover the Gospel and then to find out the
rest of the story as we gather on for an Easter Sunrise Service at 7
a.m. at the Church of God on Sunday, March 31. Everyone is welcome.
