The children of the late Carl and Indianna Ingram, from the Hopewell Community, gathered on October 27th and 28th for a weekend reunion. Throughout the weekend families gathered at the home of John and Betty Worrell, R.C. and Alene Ingram and Wayne and Gloria Ingram. The weekend was filled with memories, meals and of course, college football.
Four generations of Ingram descendants traveled from all over Alabama, Mississippi, Nevada and Tennessee. Needless to say, the ties were strong to both Mississippi and Alabama football.
So the game was watched closely. However, the ties to this family were even greater.
The family spent time tracing their family heritage and recording their place in this wonderful family for generations to come. One of the greatest gifts parents can leave their children is a family to be a part of and to be proud of. Coming back home to Ingram homestead is an annual tradition treasured by all.
