Students complete welding test

By Brady Clay, president of The Choctaw FFA Chapter

Recently in the Ag-Power Machinery Operations class at Choctaw County Career and Technology Center, the first-year students finished their tests on oxy-acetylene cutting.

These students are now learning how to stick, or ARC weld, while the second-year students are beginning to learn how to TIG weld.

Several students are working on projects including a portable duck blind and trailer and members of the FFA have been restoring a seed spreader which will be rented out in order to help support the Choctaw FFA organization.
