French Camp Panthers defeat McAdams Bulldogs 48-0

The French Camp Panthers played their first division game of the season against the McAdams Bulldogs this past Friday. The Panthers were successful in their showing, defeating the Bulldogs 48-0.

For the French Camp Panthers offense, quarterback Jesse Hosket made his first start of the season after a pre-season injury left him sidelined the first three games. Hosket was 9 of 14 in pass completions for 123 yards and two touchdowns.

Running back Jalon Clemons had five carries for 32 yards and one touchdown, as well as two interceptions returned for touchdowns on defense. Ben Hosket had four carries for 51 yards.

Hagan Box had one reception for a touchdown (31 yards) and Lovondra Carter had one reception for a touchdown (8 yards).

On the defensive side of the ball, Ben Hosket and Douglas Hughes led the team with 6 total tackles each, followed by Dylan Dickey with 5 total.

The French Camp Panthers will host Shaw this upcoming Friday in division play. Last season, the Hawks defeated the Panthers in a close 12-6 decision.

The French Camp Panthers will be looking to go 2-0 in division play when they meet up with Shaw.

Kickoff for the game will be at 7:30 p.m.
