Volunteer training for Make-A-Wish on Tuesday, September 11

Make-A-Wish® Mississippi is looking for volunteers throughout the state to help with wish-granting! Our volunteers are the hands and feet of our organization and have the opportunity to visit with wish kids in their own areas, interview the child and families, and help orchestrate a wonderful experience that our wish kids will remember forever!

If you are interested in becoming a wish-granter, a training will be held on Tuesday, September 11th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Make-A-Wish Mississippi’s home office. The training will cover the wish granting process, important things to know when granting wishes, different types of wishes, how to handle particular situations, lots of stories on what makes wish granting such a worthwhile and heartwarming experience, and more. If you can’t attend in person, you may join in on the training via conference call!

For more information, please contact Judy Phillips, Director of Operations and Program Services, at (601) 366-9474 ext. 1-302 or email judy@ms.wish.org.
