Congressman Alan Nunnelee drew a crowd of approximately 50 people to the recent Brown Bag Lunch program.
Congressman Nunnelee was the guest speaker for the program that is offered by the Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce.
He spoke about topics such as government spending, Obama healthcare plan, Medicare, Veteran’s benefits, the unemployment rate and alternative fuel options.
Nunnelee said he feels like he is more efficient when out visiting constituents and holding town hall type meetings.
“I’m a much more efficient congressman when I’m at meetings like this,” he said.
While speaking and afterwards Congressman Nunnelee answered questions that ranged from veteran’s benefits, unemployment rate, Paul Ryan and more.
Kelli Jackson, Congressman Nunnelee’s field representative, encourages everyone to stop by and see her the first Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m.-noon at the Choctaw County Courthouse. Stop by with your questions, concerns or comments.
