Conducting Camera Surveys of White-Tailed Deer Aug. 28 A seminar on Conducting Camera Surveys of White-Tailed Deer will be held Tuesday, August 28 at 6:30pm at the Choctaw County Extension Office. William McKinley, Deer Biologist with Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries & Parks, via interactive video, will discuss when to conduct a camera survey, site selection and preparation, monitoring and checking the cameras, how to conduct the photo analysis and calculate population estimates and how to use survey data to meet your management goals. One hour CFE credit will be offered. There is no charge, but registration is required by calling 285-6337.
