Finding information to open your own business just got a little easier. The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce recently releases their Business Start Up page on their website.

“The idea is to streamline the process of starting a business in Choctaw County. All the information you need, can be found in one spot, including where to get financial help, business licenses, available rental properties, and much more. The page also gives some insight in how the Chamber can help you start your business and what services we offer,” explained John Scott, with the Chamber of Commerce.

The Business Start Up webpage also offers information on how the Chamber of Commerce can help the person interested in opening a business in Choctaw County. The Chamber can help with business coaching, marketing, ribbon cutting ceremonies and much for more for paid members.

“If you look around our county, you’ll see all the best businesses are owned by local people. If we are going to grow our local economy, then we need to take a serious look at how we can make it easier to do business and to start a business. Having all the information needed to open your doors enables the business owner to focus on what is really important, and that’s making money,” said Scott.
