Traci Mongeon, MSU Extension 4-H agent and 5K organizer, is excited about the race. “It was great to see a variety of ages, and experience in the 5K. I am thrilled to have those that walk, and begin with this as their first 5K. Plus, it is great to meet new people, and have those from Ackerman who came back to do the 5K,” said Mongeon.
“A few little changes for next year will make the 5K our best yet!”
The JuneFest 5K Run/Walk proceeds go to 4-H and the Choctaw County Animal Shelter.
