Gospel Singing June 16 Gospel Singing will be held June 16 at 7 p.m. at the Sherwood Community Center featuring By His Grace with Robert Herring, Revelations and Brandy Pennington. Everyone is invited to come join us for a great night of gospel singing, food and fellowship. Admission if free, but a love offering is received. Concessions available. VBS at French Camp Pesbyterian Church June 18-21 All kindergarten – sixth graders in the French Camp area are invited to the SONRISE NATIONAL PARK vacation Bible school, Tuesday-Thursday, June 19-21 from 9:00-11:30 at FCPC. Sports Camp at French Camp June 18-21 Tuesday-Thursday, June 19-21 a free sports camp will be held at French Camp Presbyterian Church from 1:30-3:00 for first-sixth grade youth in the French Camp area. Summer Reading at Weir Library June 19 Children pre-school to 6th grade are encouraged to attend the Summer Reading Program at the Weir Library from 2 p.m.-3 p.m. on Tuesdays June 19 and June 26. The program is part of “Turning the Tide on Poverty” in cooperation with the Mississippi Library Commission, the Tombigbee Regional Library System, and Weir Library.

Native Plant Propagation June 21 12-1 pm at Choctaw County Extension Office in the Courthouse Annex. Dr. Wayne Porter will discuss who to grow your own native plants for your landscape. This workshop, presented via interactive video, is free and open to the public.

VBS at Chester Baptist June 25-29 You’re clear for takeoff at Amazing Wonders Aviation! Come join us as we fly to some of the world’s greatest natural wonders and encounter God’s awesome power! As we fly around the world, kids will takeoff from Worship at The Worship Rally Hangar and make their first stop at the stunning Victoria Falls for Bible study. While flying around the world kids will also visit: Snacks at the Paricutin Volcano, Missions under the Northern Lights, Music at the Matterhorn, Recreation at the Grand Canyon, and Crafts at the Great Barrier Reef.

It’s Vacation Bible School at Chester Baptist Church like you’ve never experienced before! Children age three through grade six are admitted free from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. June 25–29.

Full Circle Knitting/ Crocheting Group Location: Choctaw County Extension Office Full Circle Knitting/Crocheting group meets every Tuesday from 9 a.m.- Noon. Reform VFD Fundraiser June 30 Reform Volunteer Fire Department invites everyone to their fundraiser on June 30 at 10 a.m.-until.

The VFD will be selling hamburger and hot dog plates that include chips and a drink. Pre-order your “Supporter of Reform Fire Department” t-shirt for $15. Join us at Reform VFD to help raise funds for new equipment. Reform VFD is located at 142 Plainermill Road, just off of Hwy. 15 North in the Reform Community.

Civil War Concert Nationally known Civil War singer, musician, and historian, Bobby Horton, will be in concert on Monday, June 18, at 7 p.m. in McComas Hall on the MSU campus. This free concert will feature music from both the North and South, popular at home and on the battlefield.
