Woodmen Family Cookout June 2 The Woodmen of the World Lodge 94 of Eupora will host a family cookout for all Woodmen members on Saturday evening, June 2nd at 7 pm. Bring your family for a great meal and entertainment by “Long Way To Go”, a blue grass gospel group from Maben. Members are asked to bring their families and guests for a meal of hamburgers and hot-dogs and need to bring a dessert. Cold drinks and coffee will be furnished by the lodge.
McAdams & Dudley Reunion June 2 The McAdams & Dudley Reunion will be June 2 at the Sherwood Community Center, 5 miles south of Mathiston. All families and friends are invited to come, bring a dish, and enjoy the day together.
Reform School Reunion June 3 It is time once again for the annual Reform school reunion. It is to be held at the Sherwood Community Center on Sunday June 3 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The Community Center is located on Highway 15 approximately 4 miles south of Mathiston and 13 miles north of Ackerman. Come join your former classmates and friends for a day of reminiscing and please bring any yearbooks, stories, or anything that you would like to share. Lunch will be potluck. Bring one or two of your favorite recipes to share. We look forward to seeing you there.
Memorial Service June 3 Pisgah Independent Methodist Church will have a Memorial Service on June 3 at 11 a.m. Lunch will be after the service at noon.
Homecoming Services June 3 Homecoming services at Mt. Airy Church will be held Sunday, June 3. A short business meeting will be held at 10:45 a.m. The worship service begins at 11 a.m. followed with a fellowship lunch. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the day.

Drivers Ed class to be offered this summer June 4-29 Drivers Education will be offered at Ackerman High School this summer from June 4-June 29 from 10 am to 1 pm daily. The class will be available to students in grades 9-12, and each student who completes the class will earn 1/2 credit towards graduation. The cost of the class is $150.
