Mr. William Phillip Fancher April 17, 2012 Funeral services for Mr. William Phillip Fancher, 84, were held at McCool Baptist Church in McCool on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. Rev. Johnny Watkins, Dr. Ronnie Saver, and Rev. Curly D. Brown (graveside) officiated. Burial at McCool Cemetery. Mr. Fancher was a veteran of WWII. Mr. Fancher was a member of Bowie Chapel Independent Methodist Church in McCool. Mr. Fancher died on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his residence. Survivors include wife, Dean Clements Fancher of McCool; daughter, Wanda Fancher Bass of Jackson; sons, Charles Phillip Fancher and James Dean Fancher, both of McCool; brother, David T. Fancher of McCool; sister, Martha Fancher Brasher of Winfield, AL; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles Fancher, James Fancher, Joseph Bass, Phillip Fancher, Bradley Fancher, and Daniel Fancher. Jordan Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Laurie Perry Fulce April 18, 2012 Funeral services for Mrs. Laurie Perry Fulce, 92, were held at Ackerman United Methodist Church in Ackerman on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10 a.m. Rev. Rob Faulk and Rev. Bryan Carrubba officiated. Burial at Salem Cemetery near the Chester Community. A native of Choctaw, Mrs. Fulce was a retired business owner and homemaker. Mrs. Fulce was a member of Salem Independent Methodist Church. Mrs. Fulce died on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at her residence in Ackerman. Survivors include sons, Johnny M. Fulce and Tommy Fulce, both of Ackerman; brothers, Hayward Perry and J.T. Perry, both of Ackerman; sister, Maurine Burkes of Hurley; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Family suggests memorials to Salem Cemetery Fund or charity of choice. Coleman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Allen Pierce April 15, 2012 Funeral services for Mr. Allen Pierce, 71, were held at John E. Stephens Chapel in Philadelphia on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2 p.m. Rev. David Nelson, Rev. Ben Laird, and Rev. Ray Spence (graveside) officiated. Burial at Antioch Cemetery in House. A native of the House Community, Mr. Pierce was a retired poultry and cattle farmer as well as a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Pierce was a member of Beach Springs M.B. Church. Mr. Pierce died on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. Survivors include wife, Charlotte Cole Pierce of House; son, Brian Pierce of House; sister, Marie Pierce of Enterprise; brother, Doyle Pierce of Enterprise. Pallbearers were Jeff McNair, Rayburn Rush, Demp Parkes, Jerry Joyner, Ricky Carlisle, Dennis Rigdon, John Hester, and Ricky Smith. John E. Danny Irvin and Rev. Larry Odom officiated. Burial at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman. A native of Amory, Mr. Vaughn was a pharmacist. Mr. Vaughn was a member of Ackerman Baptist Church. Mr. Vaughn died on Sunday, April 15, 2012 in Jackson. Survivors include wife, Angel Bell Vaughn; parents, Eddy Vaughn and Joyce Erwin Vaughn of Ackerman; son, Jaxon Hunter Vaughn of Starkville; brothers, Brad Vaughn of Ackerman, Richard Vaughn of Tupelo.
