Ms. Rose Bradford Massey Rose Bradford Massey, 97, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2012, at OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville with her loving family by her side. She was born in Winston County October 6, 1914 and was retired with University Cleaners. She was a life-long seamstress and homemaker. She was also a member of Bevill Hill United Methodist Church. Massey is survived by her daughters, Melba Smith, and Wanda Sue Bradford of Starkville, MS; a sister, Dorothy Hamill of Louisville, MS; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. Mr. Gerald Fox Gerald Fox, 76, died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Aurora Health and Rehab. He was born in Tupelo on March 22, 1936 to James Carter and Johnny Evelyn Fox. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a longtime employ of Babcock and Wilcox. Graveside services were Tuesday at the Mississippi State Veterans Cemetery in Newton with Bro. Jim Sallee officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Gay Fox of Louisville and Conna W. Doyle Jones, 67, died Monday, April 2, 2012 at 3020 Lodi Road in Stewart, MS. Born July 20, 1944, in Neshoba County, MS, Doyle retired from the Vo-Tech in Eupora. He was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church at Stewart, MS. He is survived by his wife, Lucy Jones of Stewart, MS; two daughters, Rhonda Brasfield, Jennifer Halsdorf, both of Stewart, MS; two sons, Charlie Jones, Mark Jones, both of Eupora, MS; four sisters, Faye Savell, Bobbie Stovall, Shirley Blunt, all of Philadelphia, MS, and Sylvia Bell of Panama City, FL; and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dale, Myron, Stevie and Kevin May, Dale Boatman, Jr., Adam Cummings, Buck Meek III and Teddy Lampard. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Jones, Kenny Morris, Danny Mann, Wayne Burton, Pete Crowell, Bobby Smith, Jimmy Weeks, David Ellison, and Turner Jones. Services were held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m., April 5, 2012 with Rev. Johnny Walker officiating. Burial followed at Pine Forest Cemetery at Montgomery County.
