Chamber to sponsor First Responders Appreciation Dinner

Chamber to sponsor First Responders Appreciation Dinner By Staff and Press Reports

First responders are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week with many of those hours volunteered to help others.
The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce wants to show their appreciation to Choctaw County’s first responders by providing an appreciation dinner on March 30 at the Choctaw County Community Center in Ackerman.
First responders include volunteer firefighters, law enforcement, medical personnel and wildlife and fisheries.
To show the first responders their dedication is noted and appreciated all Choctaw County first responders and one guest are invited for free.
The dinner will be provided by Sonny’s BBQ with dessert from The Mug. The night will also include a guest speaker, door prizes and a slide show of calls and events of the first responders will also take place.
The general public is more than welcome to attend; tickets are $10 and $7 for Chamber of Commerce members.
More than 100 tickets have been reserved so far!
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30 at the Community Center in Ackerman.
